ZTA members learn early that Zeta Is Forever. Our journey in Zeta Tau Alpha began as collegians. The future of ZTA depends on its alumnae continuing that journey.  The Augusta, Georgia Alumnae Chapter allows sisters to meet with ZTA women who live in the CSRA, to share experiences, to grow and to serve the Augusta area. Our chapter has programs including social events, parties and philanthropic projects. In addition, alumnae groups offer career networking and relevant educational programs.  Often activities include husbands and children. You will never outgrow being a ZTA, for the purpose and meaning gets clearer every day. We look forward to welcoming ZTA sisters living in and near Augusta, Georgia to the Garden City and our alumnae chapter.

Zeta Tau Alpha was established October 15, 1898 at what is now Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia by 9 women. Most of these women were only 14 or 15 years old, but knew that they wanted to continue their bond of friendship and sisterhood after college. The founders knew something that we all know now, "Zeta is forever." Alumnae is such an important part of our fraternity. Zeta Tau Alpha has grown to the third largest sorority in the United States.
